I'm Stefanie
Owner and founder of REI Finance, Wife, Mom, CPA, Real Estate Investor and Corporate Finance escapee
After a 10 year career in corporate finance, it was my two kids that gave me the push into self employment. I was attracted by the flexibility, scalability and building a life I never wanted to retire from.
After many hours of soul searching, I decided to marry two of my passions: finance + real estate. Where I enjoy all things numbers, many real estate and business owners hate it. This is where I can make a difference!
My goal is to provide financial insight, foresight and oversight so that owners can gain clarity, have peace of mind and focus on propelling their business forward!
How it all started...
Returning to work after my first maternity leave, I realized I was no longer the same person. Motherhood had changed me, the pandemic had changed me, time freedom had changed me...
In pursuit of redefining my purpose in life, I fell back on two overarching passions of mine 1) real estate investing and 2) financial management. Being a real estate investor has given me the confidence that I am creating generational wealth for my family and diversifying my income streams in the process. Digging deep into my finances gave me the clarity to know that I had options. These two together helped me take the leap into self employment!
I combined these same two passions to create REI Finance and now I help my clients on this exact same transformation. From being in a state of confusion and overwhelm with their finances to a state of clarity and confidence to make big business decisions.

Some fun facts about me...
My favourite food is tacos. So much so, that I would love my next investment property to be in Mexico!
I love to travel! My goal is to take my kids on at least 2 trips every year to explore somewhere new.
I used to be a competitive rhythmic gymnast who competed for Canada. I fully attribute my relentless work ethic to competitive sport.
I am extremely passionate about financial literacy. I envision being involved in financial literacy education for kids in the future.
I'm a big believer in investing in experiences. These are the moments that make up my core memories!
I'm a natural introvert. I love operating behind the scenes, observing and analyzing :)
